First time to Norway !

Hi there !

I´m planning to go next march for 5 weeks to norway, maybe even longer.
I would just like to spend the most of the time there in the nature....
without people....
maybe some of you knows a nice place ?
also I´m interested what is the easiest and cheapest way to get from Oslo to for example Bergen or Trondheim ?
And is it true that it´s very difficult to hitchhike in norway ?

I would be happy if someone could share some of his/her experiences with me !

the cheapest way to get from oslo to bergen or trondheim is the airline norwegian - if you get the cheapest price of about 285NOK.

if you do not get a cheap flight then you can take the bus.

i was just hitchhiking in sweden and it was not that easy to find someone who wanted to take you with.

and a place without people in norway... avoid the fjords, there are many tourists. go up int he mountains, the are not that much people!

Hi draupadi,

i think Norway, Sweden and Finnland are the best countries for hitchhiking in Europe.

Sometimes there aren´t so many cars, but almost every second guy will give you a ride at remote places ...

In every small nationalpark or hiking area you can be alone for days, it gets even better when you go up north ..
